Introduction to Baby Narwhal Nodes

Now for the moment you have all been waiting for, Baby Narwhal Nodes.

Baby Narwhal Nodes are a DaaS (Defi-as-a-Service) & NaaS (Nodes-as-a-Service) protocol, set to go live on the Avalanche network towards the end of Q2. The project is part of Arctic Finance Protocol and will also be integrated into the Narwhal Node Club universe.

The aim of Baby Narwhal Nodes are to reward investors with a stable, consistent long term income through investments across all of DeFi. We want to supply the space with an easy way to generate passive income, from a protocol which believes long-term sustainability is paramount.

Below we will include a brief overview of our Baby Narwhal Nodes. Closer to the release of Arctic Finance, we will be releasing an entire white-paper with a full, further detailed breakdown.

Tiers & Cost

Set to launch in early July, there will be 3 tiers of nodes.

• Baby Narwhal, 250 $COD to create.

• Teen Narwhal, 5x Baby Narwhals + 100 $COD to create.

• Adult Narwhal, 5x Teen Narwhals + 100 $COD to create.

Each node will give an increasingly higher amount of $COD, and will all complement each-other. Only Baby Narwhals can be created, the other two higher options must be earned through use of the protocol itself. The other way to generate a node is the utilisation of our Narwhal Node Club NFTs.

Distribution of the $COD used in the creation of nodes:

• 40% - Treasury - (Used for Investments, Validator Nodes, & More)

• 45% - Rewards Pool - (Distributed to Node & xCOD Holders)

• 8% - Liquidity - (Used for Liquidity Pool & Reserves)

• 5% - Development - (Protocol Development, Team Expansion, Marketing, & More)

• 2% - Core Team - (Vested Over Time)

NFT Breeding

The second method of generating Baby Narwhal Nodes is to use 2 NNC NFTs. These can be locked together for a period of 7 days on our Dapp, + bonded with 100 $COD tokens to generate a Baby Narwhal node. After each breeding session, the NFT will subsequently generate 15% less passive income and each breeding session will then cost +20 $COD tokens.
